Now that we have finished our parts for the home study and just waiting for reference letters and finger print results, I am starting to work on our profile book. The agency sent me a sample. In it, the pages are all white with pictures. I have a scrapbook program I planned to use so I was going to have designs and themes, lots of color. Is this normal? Or is it more accepted for there to be lots of white? I know I can ask the agency but I don't want to bug her with every little question. (I have already sent 2 e-mails this week and we are not even officially signed up yet!!) I don't want ours to just blend in, but I also don't want it to be really 'out there!' (Can you tell we did not do a profile book last time??)

Ours was really colorful and I did it in a scrapbook kind of way.

We used a scrapbook program on our computer as well and for each page we had a different background. We had a lot of compliments on it from birthmoms. The program we used was wonderful, I am now using it to make pages for photo albums of our little man.

i think you should do it any way you feel comfortable. when i was making our profile all i had seen were online ones - never a hard copy of anyone elses. so i tried to do a computer type and ill admit - it was awful. so i finally sat down with my scrapbook supplies and whipped out a profile that was just like us. i had to then have it copied and bound. i was going to scan the pages and put them online, but we were matched so quickly i didnt have to. go with what your comfortable with and an emom will pick you for you - not for what someone else told you to do.
