Pray for our city
Please pray for the victims in the Omaha mall shooting. This mall is about 5 minutes from my house and I shop there on a very regular basis. I was just there two days ago. I thought about going today, but then we decided to get our Christmas tree. Nothing like this has ever happened here and people just don't know how to react. My heart goes out to the victims and their families.

Wow we're really close. I'm at the hospital all day and about 5 mins from Westroads. I was so shocked when I heard the news from the nurses.

No kidding! We just heard about it. We used to live in Lincoln and you just never imagine these kinds of things happening in Nebraska!!! So sad.

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers for the victims and their families. This is just so tragic. The more I hear and read about it, the sicker I get. My best friend's niece worked at Von Maur and said that a man got shot right in front of her and that a shell casing dropped at her feet. She is just a mess and understandably so.
This is a nice mall in a nice area of town and it just goes to show that these things can and do happen anywhere!
