Hi laughterkt! I'm currently a member of the "matched and waiting for summer babies" thread but we aren't due until the fall. No one else seemed to be due then when we were matched so I just joined them!

We have been matched for almost 3 months and have close to 2 months to go! Our emom is due September 26! Anyway, thanks for starting this thread...hopefully we'll get some more people! I'll say some prayers for you that this is the one! When are you due?

I met the emom about 4 weeks ago, but it seems like an eternity. Very anxious for the arrival of our baby and also very scared that the emom will decide to parent the baby.

Hello. My husband & I have recently been matched with an emom who is due in November. Initially, they told us the end of Nov. but got a call at the beginning of this week saying it might be earlier then that!

We've been invited to meet the eparents and to go to her ultrasound appointment on Tuesday. We are extremely excited but nervous! We want the meeting to go well. For those of you who have already met with the emom, care to share your experiences??

JFran- We have been blessed in that we are able to take emom to her doctor's appointments. It is so great being able to be by her side through all of this. We missed her first ultrasound but last week we took her to have a 3D ultrasound done....soooo amazing! Our initial meeting with emom went very well. We met with emom and her father. DH and her dad got along great because they are both military. That gave us a lot to talk about. Anyway, just be yourself and TRY to relax.

Frankiegirl- I also met our emom through work, except I work with emom's bestfriend.

Hello everyone! We are matched with a very sweet emom who is due on November 3. We attended the ultrasound appointment last month and found out it's a girl . We are absolutely thrilled! Just praying the next 3 months fly by .
