2nd time around
i got a call yesterday from baby k's bmom. she thought it was mothers day and called to wish me a happy mothers day and to tell me she is pregnant - AGAIN!!!! and the baby is all mine. *meant to be* were her words. WHAT???!!!! baby K is almost 4 months old. she is due dec/jan. baby k turns 1 in the middle of jan! 2 babies less then a year apart. i am thrilled actually. crazy! lucky 13 for me? a BAKERS dozen? is this life crazy or what!

CONGRATULATIONS!!! We have three boys 2.5. 2 on Friday and 1 today. Eldest and youngest have same bio parents and we made the one in the middle. The closeness is age is a bit daunting at first but every single day I am amazed and grateful that our boys are brothers. I am not certain if our children will have any adoption difficulty as they get older but somehow it feels like it will be that much easier because they have each other. OMG do they look alike!!!

Wow, did you ever discuss anything like this with her? That is so awesome for you! My bio daughter and stepson are a year and a week apart I think that it is great to have them so close. What a blessing for your family!!!

we discussed it. our baby was her 2nd placement. i did let her know that if she ever was going to make an adoption plan again that we would be interested. she didnt even tell the first aparents about her 2nd pregnancy cause they said they probably only wanted 1 child. i was clear that we would definately be interested. she said i was the first person she called because she got pregnant so quickly, even on the bc shot, that this baby was meant to be ours!

Started home study 9/06 Signed with agency 10/06 Matched 11/06 P's Baby is due 12/6 P's baby was born 12/6 Spent 24 hours with the little angel Adoption failed 12/8  Matched again 12/16 Met baby Brooklyn 12/18 Home in LA with her on 12/22....the best Xmas present ever
