Our son has arrived!!
 Joshua Clark was born May 1 at 5:22 pm: 7 lbs. 9 oz and a head full of dark hair!! Birthmother signed yesterday and we picked him up at 5:30 pm! We had the blessing of spending some time with his birthmom and father before her release. We drove through night from Chicago to Tallahassee on April 30-May 1 and made it to the hospital around 2 pm May 1. We are tired yet overjoyed and thankful To God for his hand in this process. IT was the most nervewracking three days of my life as we waited for the consent to be signed. My heart almost beat out of my chest and I have slept very little!! I'll post pictures when I can, my baby is crying!! We are waiting for ICPC to go through so we can travel back to Chicago.Kirsten

Oh, congratulations.... I lurk here a lot ....and I'm a very "happy-for-you" lurker right now. Can't wait to see pictures.

Congrats and I can't wait to see pictures. I remember our adventure almost 5 years ago with DD... I felt the same "my heart beating out of my chest". Get some rest and enjoy our precious addition, as I am sure you will.
