Whirlwind!
We got called this morning. Tomorrow we will bring home our baby girl, after 20 months of waiting! The termination of parental rights hearing has already taken place so she's ours!

Oh wowee!! Congratulations, I had a quick placement also and boy is it tiring and FABULOUS!!!!
Let us know if you need anything and post pics as soon as you are able to breathe (you know, in about 20 years...LOL)

Oh yes I second going to bed early, you have a LONG EMOTIONAL day ahead of you and will need your rest (believe me I didn't and I was paying for it). Oh and eat a good meal before hand. Yikes, nothing like nerves, excitement, no sleep and no food on ya (which was us).
OOooooo I'm so excited!! This is so fun!!

sleep or no sleep - you'll be fine! who can sleep with a new baby on the way. i slept a whole 4 hours the night before baby k was born. good luck tomorrow and give her a kiss for us. i wonder what you will name her?

Congratulations!
The adoption of our youngest (he'll be 18 in May!) was a whirlwind adoption and it was exciting and wonderful! He was born on Mother's Day, (Sunday, of course) but we didn't know his birthmother had picked our profile the day before. Our lawyer had been gonna tell us that on Monday morning - instead he called us to tell us we had a baby boy! Enjoy all the excitement and I doubt you'll get much sleep, lol.
