Heart The Preciousness of little girls

Ok, so I am using one of Bajj's threads. Hers is about little boys mine is about little girls.

I myself have thoroughly enjoyed raising my little girl. She is not all girl but girly enough. I love the way we can dress her to be so dainty yet put a pair of Wranglers with her boots on to go romp around the property.

She loves to snuggle up and sleep with me and I love to just drink her in. She always smells clean and I can't get enough of that.

I love brushing her long brown hair and putting it up in pony tails. The sweetness that she shows when something is wrong just melts my heart.

Please join me with your experiences in raising your precious little girl.

I love my little girls more than I ever imagined possible! Our oldest is vibrant and active and extremely loving. I love how concerned she is about other people and always kisses real or imagined booboos better on me.
I love how adoring she is towards her baby sister. We had no idea how she would react to a baby joining the family this past year. But we needn't have worried. Her baby sister is everything to her.
I love watching her kiss her repeatedly. I love how she holds her sister's hand when they pose for pictures. :-) I love how she screams "mommy!!" or "daddy!!" with glee, when either of us comes home.
I love that although she can be completely girly girl (princesses are it! right now), she is also a complete Tom-boy. (We had to put up a 6ft tall wood fence because she was scaling the chainlink fence at 18 mths
With my youngest. I love how she snorts and the deep raspy laugh she has (she had trachea surgery at 3 days old). I love that she is so bonded to her older sister that she crawls around and follows her everywhere! I love that she pulls herself up so she can hold onto my knee and smile big gummy grins at me. I love the smiles I get when I walk into her nursery and she's standing in her crib waiting for me. I love how she smells...
What can I say? I love my girls.

Ok, the funny thing is I am NOT a feminine person at all. But, I love putting Drihan in play dresses and watching her run around barefoot in the Summer around the farm. I love the way she is Daddy's girl and the way he looks at her. I love when she looks at me and says "Mommy, I love you". I love snuggling into our family bed at night and waking up to see her peacefully sleeping like an angel. I love how she is very huggy and kissy and very tactile and always wants to have one hand on us even when sleeping she reaches over to touch us or sleeps on our pillow. I love that she is MY daughter and always will be

Jasmine is TOTALLY girly. She loves dolls, clothes and shoes. (After 2 boys, I had SO wanted someone to share THAT passion with!)

It always cracks me up, though, when she comes in with her pink purse filled with matchbox cars and action figures. Then I know her brothers have gotten to her!

My daughters will be six years old in May (sniff, sniff - where DOES the time go?) and I am thoroughly enjoying be Mommy to two very girly little girls. They recently starting ice skating lessons and spend much of their time dancing around the house pretending to skate (particularly in their socks on the kitchen tile).

The younger twin has started in the past couple of days to ask me to kiss her on the neck. She tells me it "feels so good, Mom!" When I lean down to kiss her neck, she wraps both arms firmly around my head and sighs, often saying "I love you SO much, Mommy!"

The older twin's most favorite thing to do is to curl up on our king-sized bed with me for "alone time." She'll talk and talk, then get quiet and just gaze at me with a smile on her face while patting my cheek.

I am so blessed to be so well-loved by my girls!

If any of you have ever seen the "Casper" movie with Bill Pullman and Christina Ricci, there's a line that the mom (who has passed away) says to the dad...something about "you and Cat loved me so well while I was alive that I have no unfinished business." I just love that - and feel that way about my family, too.

My little girl is 8 weeks old. I always felt I was supposed to have a girl...can't explain it, just knew hubby and I would have a girl one day.
My heart melts when I look into her closet filled with pink clothes. I love choosing her outfit everyday. Girl clothes are so adorable!!!!
I can't wait to brush her hair and give her pigtails and braids. I can't wait to put ribbons in her hair. We've got a way to go on the hair stuff though as she is still pretty much a baldy!!!
I love, love, love my little girl!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to watch her grow up...just not too quickly, please!!!

I hope I can join you in someday celebrating girls! Of course, right now, I'd be just as happy with another boy. I just want another kid, boy or girl!!!

I didn't think I would ever be able to post on a site about girls!
The mere site of Castle or any of her things still gives me chills, I love to wake up in the morning to baby dolls scattered across the den floor, rocking her at night and smelling her little clean head as we hum and read our bedtime story. I can't wait to dress her each and every day she is so darling in EVERYTHING from sweats to frilly dresses. My very favorite thing to do is put a hairbow in! After two boys that is such a thrill!
And of course her bear hugs and kisses rank pretty high too!

I hate to admit it now, but I didn't want a daughter After our son was born, whenever we talked about another child, I was adamant that I only wanted boys. My daughter is now 2 and I could not imagine NOT having experienced raising a little girl. I love that she is so sweet and so devilish at the same time. She can be so girly and so tough all wrapped up in one. Case in point - she got angry at her brother, whacked him with a purse then said "I leaving!" When I asked her where she was going, her answer was "buy new shoes!"
I melt when she and I snuggle up at naptime and she stares into my eyes as she pets my face and hair with her dainty little hands........
I love that she wants us to dress alike and when we do, she says "like Mommy".
And best of all is when she comes to me out of the blue and says "mommy love Lexi, Lexi love Mommy".
Ahhhh, I guess I better tell my mother she was right...........I definitely needed a little girl!

THere was a point in time when I never thought I'd be able to buy dresses and hairbows and play beauty parlor, but 3 yrs ago it happened. Just an FYI I have been posting on "In celebration of boys" post, I have 4 boys, and 2 girls. I'm glad you started this because I have really enjoyed sharing on the boys list, and it does seem only fair that we celebrate our daughters.
Every Morning our 4 yo daughter wakes up and says,
Dood morning Mommy, we waked the sun up" THis is usually before the sun has come up, or is just peeking over the horizon. THey are girly girls, most of the time. They are 4 and 5 and are complete opposites. Our 5 yo is very fastidious, can't stand to be dirty, and the 4 yo, well she will never be accused of being a clean freak. If there is a hill anywhere around you can generally find her rolling down it. Or trying to dunk her head in puddles.
One of their, and my, favorite pasttimes is to brush mommy's hair. They drape me in blankets, like at the beauty shop. Brush and fix my hair, paint my hair (we saw a woman getting hi-lites one time) and put my make-up on. Just a general day of beauty.
After stories and kisses at night as I turn to leave their room and turn out the light I hear, Night Mommy, see you in the morning. I Wub you! usually in stereo, and I'll tell you what, there's not a stereo or music station in the woirld that plays sweeter music. SHelley, Mom to 6

I love this thread

I love everything about my baby, even if she is 3 now. I love how she climbs up in my lap and say's [mommy, look at me I want to talk to you] I love when she climbs into bed with us and says, [come on, let's snuggle. I love how she says give me somma that sugar, and then hugs my neck, and tells me i'm her best friend anyone can have. I love the way she prances around the house modeling like she is the next tara banks and the next minute she wants to go catch bugs with daddy. I love when family comes over and they get loud, she will go over to them and say wait a minute, I want to talk to you. She will then preceed to ask them, what's your problem in this house. Can you tell I just love my daughter. I don't think i'm biased at all. YEAH, right, LOL

What a great thread.

I always knew that I wanted to have a daughter so when I found out that DD was a "girl" during the match period, I was thrilled.

My little girl is my best friend. She is so sweet and kind and loving. She loves to walk around the house with her doll carriage pushing her "babies" but she also loves to wrestle with her boy cousins.

I have to admit that I LOVE buying little girl clothes. Even if she is wearing jeans, I love putting a little "bow" in to dress it up a little.

Now that I am thinking of adopting another, I thought that I would definitely want a boy. But I love my sister so much that I think it would be fun to have two girls too!

Oh, I wish Kelcee would leave the bows in her hair. I put them in and she takes them out. What are you going to do right?!

Last night she wanted my attention and I needed to finish something. She walked about 10 feet away and put her hands on her hips, rolled her eyes and sighed. How could you not laugh and love that???
