Hi Ladies - I haven't been on the board alot lately! As you know, I'm in the midst of Birthday party madness!!
I agree with Lupe's comments on how we just clicked like old friends! I am honored to have met you all and look forward to many more get togethers!! GREAT PICS Lupe & Lori!! Lori - you can be my photographer on Saturday  Lupe - I'd love to see the pictures you took that day also! I think you have the one with all the mom's & girls! Hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! We went to PF Changs at the Irvine Spectrum & then walked around! It was fun! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEE!! HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

Thanks!! It was wonderful! As Princess Jasmine was singing to the girls, I almost broke down in tears watching Daniella face! She had so much fun!! All the little girls faces were priceless!!

Ava is walking
My little lady has finally started walking!!!! She has been walking two weeks and she is still a little wobbly. I think she is so cute when she tries to go fast because her poor legs can't quite keep up with her body. I sure love this milestone.
We are so proud of you Ava!

Well, we had another great day with some of our forum friends.
It was great to see Lori, Lupe, Maricela, and also to meet Isa! The girls had such a wonderful time playing together. Can you imagine a house full of 11 girls for a whole day?!  Let's try and make another beach day before the end of summer. Maybe towards the end of September?Once again I had no camera so I can't wait to see the pictures from Lupe and Maricela. Maricela thanks so much for the use of your house! It was the perfect spot. Flys and all.

We did have a wonderful time. I love getting our girls together (and US :-) it is so special and fun.
Can't wait to do it again soon. All of our little ones are growing up so beautifully. :-) Lorie

Okay, so I was out for the weekend and have just found this thread and LOVE IT. Our angel is now 17 months old and I am still in LaLa land with her. We always knew we wanted a little girl as I have a stepson. I also always dreamed of having a little girl that I could relate to as I did with my mother.
Anyway, she is learning each and every day. This weekend, we had to teach her that it is okay for Mommy's plate to be taken from the restaurant table. She for some reason thinks that they are taking away something from me and is getting very protective. It is absolutly adorable. She also likes to dance from her high chair at the restaurants. I do have a question for those of you that seem to have get togethers, did you meet here or from your agencies? I haven't found anyone local (I can PM you our state if interested) that has adopted for get togethers and would love to.

finally~Welcome aboard. Post here anytime you want. The little group that I was talking about we met thru here. There are now 5 us that are getting together. We have a blast. We live in Southern Ca.
