Parenting question!!!

I have a question not adoption related... Long story short I have had problems with DH family for years now...WE had the first girl he is the youngest with 2 older sister who had boys. ANYWAY, DD went ot visit with grandparents and Dh sister questioned DD while she was there about "Does your mommy like me?" and other things. Note that we try VERY hard not to discuss issues in front of her as she is 4 yrs old and can understand that now. My DH called sister and questioned her to which she yelled at him for not believing her and hung up on him. My question is who do we believe... The person who has continually caused trouble for us or our duaghter. NOTHING had been even discussed when she brought this up out of the blue so that is why I am thinking DD might be telling the truth, plus she says she is. Thanks, Cindy

I'd believe your daughter. Why would a 4 y/o make up such a yarn?

I would tend to believe your daughter. Especially if she would not have any reason to know about such things. You know in your heart who is telling the truth so go with it.

The thing is with most young kiddos, they don't make up such "adult" stuff. I bet your daughter is telling the truth and am sorry you have to deal with such nonsense.

Thanks for all the advice... We talked with his sister adn she got VERY mad at us and hung up on DH. Too me that is a definate sign she is guilty. We never really doubted our daughter just wanted to make sure others felt the same cause you never know... being directly involved in the situation makes it harder to be objective ya know? Things will get better cause I refuse to argue with her about this crap anymore. She is almost 40 and acts like she's 6... A few people have even said she sounds jealous of DH and my marriage in a twisted way... FREAKY!!!!
