New Here
Hi
I’m new. My DH and myself are adopting a baby girl which is due some time between the middle of December and the middle if January. Not too sure of the actual date as she only went for her first Dr’s appointment 4 weeks ago and she had not being looking after herself. I have some very real fears and don’t know how to express them. We are in SA so I think there must be some similarities as well as vast differences. Hope to chat to you all soon and please excuse me if I ask stupid questions |

You're not too far from me. I'm in Seychelles.
Good luck. I do feel I must say here that you are PLANNING to adopt this baby. Until she's arrived that's all you can claim. It's important to acknowledge what's what and who's who correctly. For the moment, you are a hopeful adoptive parent. The woman carrying the child is its mother, perhaps making an adoption plan. The baby is hers until she arranges otherwise. And there are no stupid questions. |

Noswal,
our little one's birthmother gave birth in March, and didn't know she was pregnant until December, didn't tell her parents til January...very little prenatal care. She thankfully was in good health and we have a happy, really healthy little boy. Hoping the same for you. |
