B-day Gift for Bmom
T's bmom's birthday is coming up next week. I am definitely planning on sending a card, but I wasn't sure whether or not to send a gift, and if so, what? I thought about baking some cookies and sending those. Any ideas?
Also, should I sign the card DH, me, and T? I don't know why, but I worry that seeing our names together like that may upset her. It seems like a silly question, but what do you think? Some background on our situation: TPR is scheduled for October 30, so obviously rights haven't been terminated, but all papers are signed; bmom and I had a great relationship during her pregnancy and we have spoken a few times by phone since T's birth; we are still unsure if this will be an open adoption (leaving that up to bmom) I thought some background may help in suggesting gift ideas. Thanks!

FOr Mother's Day, I sent our son's bmom cards - one from me to her and a special one from baby A alone.
If I knew when her bday was, I would probably do the same- one from me and hubby and a special one just from the baby. I LOVE the cookie idea!

We send DS's bmom flowers for her birthday, on his birthday, and on Mother's Day. We will often also send a card with special pics or, for her most recent bday, some art from DS. We sign the card from all of us on her birthday and on his, but she gets flowers "just from him" on Mother's Day.

I agree with the others with a card from all of you and a card just from T. That would mean the world to me as a bmom.
Plus I am a fan of homemade cookies so those sound great!!

We gave our baby's mom a beautiful locket last year with a nice inscription on the back, and she loved it.

Our birthmother's birthday is coming up also. We're thinking about getting a locket and putting some of baby's hair in it. Any opinions about this?

How about a card with the baby's hand print in it. Any other the birth mom's out there , what are the best gifts you have received?
