Hi everyone!

I have been on the forum for awhile and am an adoptive parent of a wonderful 2 year old boy. There were many ups and downs with the adoption and I know that many others have questions, concerns, are waiting and the list can go on and on. I miss that there really isn't any real adoptive chat on a specific night for us all to chat. There are some that have awesome chats and I have read what fun they have. I will be in the Adoptive parent room on Wednesday night about 10:00 pm to talk to anyone. That means already parents, future or want to be future. Infact I welcome adoptees and bmoms because they have so much insight.

So I hope we see some of you guys. Thanks!

Wow... that is so great of you to chat with people (like me) who need to chat. Where is the adoptive parent chat room? I am working my tush off to pay for the adoption, so staying up until 10PM is difficult, but I will do my best. I would LOVE to chat... I'm starting to get very discouraged, and would love some insight. Thanks so much!

Dragon...you might want to specify which time zone is 10:00 for you.

And we would be more than happy to schedule a chat for Aparent Night, so hopefully everyone will chime in here.

I am so excited about the response so far...it will be this Wednesday night at 10 Pm eastern time. I am such an advocate for adoption i just want others to beable to chat tooo. Hope to see many of you the day after tomorrow in the adoptive chat room.

crick thanks for the support...it is greatly appreciated. As far as i can see we as adoptive parents or future adoptives parents or thinking about adopting have never had a chat so thanks for the support. Hope you can join on Wednesday night after 10 pm eastern time.

Hi Dragonfly! I would love to have a scheduled chat time for adoptive parents. I can't always come, but I'd love to have a set time.

I will try to come tonight, but not sure if I can! I will be home from church and the boys should be in bed by then, so I will try.

hi everyone!!!!

I did post today and apologize for the missed comunication...we met tonight at 9 pm eastern time (Tuesday). We had a great time. Who would have thought that we would have several of us from the same state let alone adopt fromt the same agency. that was great. We also talked to a new parent who beginning the process. She had losts of questions for us all. Its exciting to see the new journey she is going thru. I was really excited to see other adoptive parents whose children are raised and incollege and out of the house.. thank you ..gave us new parents insight to being adoptive parents. That what i would like to see out of this. Meet new people, information and learn. It couldn't be any better than that.

I thank all of you that joined us this evening. It was great. I had fun. Hope you all did too.
