Hi people! Has anyone had problems with CPS not returning phone calls? I have left 3 different messages to my local CPS department to get home study information and they won't call me back! I guess I need to stop by...I wanted to see if anyone has had this issue before.

Hi Sorry I have never dealt with CPS, but I am assuming they are pretty swamp. I will hold off on calling for the next couple of days. I worked with an agency that did not like the idea of me calling so much.. Thats another story...good luck..

Are you kidding?????? I'd venture to guess that anyone who deals with CPS, foster parenting, adopting through the state, etc., deals with much frustration. I know that we have!!! I find one or two people that I can keep in touch with, workers, supervisors, whatever, and I create a relationship to my advantage. I'd keep calling until I get an answer. The squeaky wheels really do get the grease.

Sorry, I did not look in your profile I am in CA, the rules are differennt here... I hope that someone will be able to assist you, as the pevious post stated it is a very good idea to establish a relationship with the cw, sw...I hope you hear good news soon

I finally spoke with them! Yea! I actually kept calling them back until I got someone that knew what was going on! Yea me!
