Times vary as often as agencies do---unfortunately. I would call. I'd stay on top of this, even when compared to the time lines we've had, it's not 'too long'. Still, I believe in 'keeping up with things'.....so I'd call them----just to ask.

Sincerely,

Linny

Hello,
For our agency in particular they had in their contract that the homestudy report would be completed with 14 days of the last visit. I have however heard some horror stories of much longer waits. As suggested above, I would call to make sure nothing falls through the cracks.

I would call your agency/SW if I were you. We had a 5 week lag time between our last homevisit and our write-up, some people have had much longer, expecially if it is through the state, which i seem to recall yours is. While we were waiting, we asked our SW if everything looked okay, if there were any impediments to our verification. She told us that we were fine, that we would be certified as soon as they could schedule a review meeting. Once I heard that, all the worst-case stuff left my mind.
