Ohio ICPC
Okay, don't believe everything you hear about OH ICPC. We just found out OH has sent our paperwork on to Indiana. They received it Thursday. The person was out of the office all day Thursday and Friday and it was approved and sent out on Tuesday. So, we are now hoping Indiana will move as quickly as Ohio did. I think the difference is having a fabulous attorney!! He made sure every form was there with all i's dotted and t's crossed before sending it out. Then he called to check in constantly. So, we are halfway there! Indiana is usally pretty quick (I have been told. Anyone have personal experience?) so we may get approval late today!! Keep your fingers crossed...

07/20/06 Cameron born 3/10/08 Spencer born January 2009: Officially licensed foster parent and SNAP approved! 7/11/09- Princess P moves in as an adoptive placement! (Our very first placement went from respite to adoption in a snap!)

CONGRATS!! You got lucky! It also depends on the county you are in & if it is a larger city or not. The fact that your attorney stayed on them constantly also made the difference.

We are in Indiana!!!!! We got clearnace about 4 this afternoon and left immediately!! Altogether we were in Ohio for 10 days but ICPC only took 5 days!! (It took a few days to get the paperwork together before it was sent in.)

I think you are the clear winner in Ohio ICPC.. The longest I have seen was someone back in May that was in Ohio for over 6 weeks. I am so happy for you. Congrats AJ
