Agency's under $12,000????
We have decided to stop pursuing foster/adopt and we are going to head back into the world of domestic infant adoption. We are currently in CO, but hubby is military so we are prob. going to be moving again if he makes rank in Nov. So we are looking for an agency that will work with family's from all over the US. We will not pay birthparent expenses. We prefer to find an agency around $12,000. We are open to most races and some special needs. Feel free to PM me. Thanks!!!

When you say that you are open to 'most races'...what does that entail? Oftentimes, if you are open to any race, or specifically, AA, then your wait will sometimes be shorter.
There are groups that will work with you regardless of being in the military, as long as you don't go overseas. (We used to be military, though we adopted while living in Okinawa, Japan---through Japan and Korea, many years ago.) I can't blame you for leaving the foster/adopt route....and I'm biased. Our adoptions of older children (and I mean even as young as 3yrs old) have turned into nightmares, for the most part. Our infant adoptions have been complete joys, and we've had four of them to date. (Two now grown, two now pre-schoolers.) Have you considered going through an attorney who will work with you throughout the US? Oftentimes, these types of adoptions are less expensive as well. I believe I have already pm'ed my own suggestion list of agencies/attorneys, but I'll be glad to do so again. My best to you........... Sincerely, Linny |
