Anyone Ever NOT Accepted By Agency?
We have our homestudy done and now that nonrefundable agency fee is looking me in the eye. Did anyone ever pay the fee and apply and not get accepted by the agency? If so, what were the reasons?

I don't think it's the not being accepted by the agency that might be a problem, but rather the not passing of your homestudy. Since you've passed that, there's really no reason an agency wouldn't take you on, as far as I know.

There are a couple of facilitators (not agencies) out there that I know who still gladly accept your application and fee - but are not currently accepting clients.
In my opinion, this is unethcial - but as we all know, facilitators don't have to play by the same rules as everyone else. Just make sure you ask, before you submit, if they are currently accepting clients.

We were rejected
When we were first starting out we did the initial two pae application and two agenices turned us down. We were too young, had not been married long enough and didn't have enough income. Now this was BEFORE doing a fulfledged homestudy that would have cost us hundreds of dollars. The last agency accepted us conditionally becaue they knew that by the time the homestudy was completed we would have been married the mandatory three years. For them income was not an issue and 25 was their minimum age limit so it worked out.
