Finalized!

Yesterday we finalized little Reid's adoption. So he's "official" and the birth certificates will be on their way shortly. We have been so blessed with a smooth adoption. We even got a letter last week from Reid's birthfamily, which was wonderful (it was the first one). Life is good!

Yay!!!!!!!!!! I think this is the reason you waited a little longer. This little guy and this wonderfully smooth adoption were meant for you!

VERY HAPPY for you. We adopted about the same time you did and will be final on August 7th . . . cannot come soon enough. Natalie is such an unbelievable joy and definitely the icing on our family cake. You must be feeling incredibly happy. Blessings to all of you.

Congrats, Em! That is so very exciting. What did we tell you - nothing to it, right? Did you have the big teddy bear of a man w/ the Tigger and Pooh on his bench?

Especially to know that you've heard from the birthfamily - that is WONDERFUL. I hope you can keep up some contact with them.

Stork - that is who we had. He reminded us of the dad from The Fresh Prince.

How funny! yes, the "Fresh Prince" judge is who we had. I asked DH if he remembered the judge's name, and he said "the kindly big man with the nice crooked smile." We got a pic with him holding the baby and us behind him. There was another family from our agency there to finalize directly following us as well.
