Okay I wrote them back, let them know we were open to any and all questions, asked them a few questions without sounding pushy, gave them all our contact info again and told them the best time to call is after 5 so my dh and I can both talk to them (in a very nice, open way). I hope I sounded okay, I'm sure I did but it's so hard to be down-to-earth yet polite. Anyways, we'll see if they email us back or call us tonight. I have thier number too so can call them if we want, but I would rather have them call us so as not to be too pushy (or should I? Gees I don't know..). I AM going to let them know about our agency but my mom is thinking they don't want to go through an agency, and as much as I love ours and would love for them to use them, I am not going to push them into it. I figure I will let them know what they have to offer and let them decide if they want to use them. Is that bad of me?
I'm a blubbering idiot right now. I'm not neccessarily putting all my eggs in this and starting to plan the birth out, I'm just nervous for our next conversation. Shoot me some advice. You know...the stuff that I say to others all the time but can't seem to remember AT ALL right now!! LOL Tell what to and not to say! Tara, maybe you could listen in and moderate our conversations. You know, every time I say something stupid or am about to you loudly BUZZ in and correct me. LOL, think you can fit that into your schedule?? LMAO Either that or just come here and Slap me really hard and tell me to GET IT TOGETHER!!  Natalie

All I know, is that if your email is a representation of who you are, then there is NO WAY that this couple cannot fall in love with you. You are an incredible person and I know that even under this 'pressure' situation, you will be absolutely, perfectly okay! You have a great head on your shoulders! Hey guys,
Just another boring day here for me....met our social worker this morning who came over to allow us to sign the referral......FOR A BABY BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  WOOHOO!!!!!Well, that is the emotional state I am in - so happy, excited, terrified, etc etc...he is beautiful - 4 months old. We will be leaving the end of December (right after Christmas) to go pick him up...how will I be able to wait that long???????? I am just so happy, you guys. Our wait is over and we have a son. Name ideas anyone? Nat - good luck to you, this sounds very promising and I agree with everyone - be yourself and how could they not love you? Ok - I'm off to the travel agency....

Had to jump in, haven't posted here for a while but I follow and read along!
Natalie - Holy crap, yeah! That is awesome news! Fingers, toes and eyes crossed! I was sooooo nervous to talk to our birthfamily the first time, but something amazing happened... when we got there, everything felt right and we were just 'ourselves' and for that hour the nerves disappeared. I'm a 'talker' so for me, the only change I tried to make was to listen alot more than talk. I answered questions fully, but asked our Bmom and Bdad questions and listened to the stories they had without much interjection. They seemed to appreciate that and really open up. I'm praying for you. You sound like a wonderful person, just let it shine through! M

Natalie - I agree, be yourself. If you are yourself, you will be FINE.  Karyn - Another boring day huh?? It's not everyday you can describe your day with a group of dancing bananas!! I am thrilled for you guys!Me??? I will go back to  akcskye - thank you for your hospice story. Right now I am just really lost and want some relief. I have MANY family members that want their "inheritance" (she does have quite a bit of $$ left at this point), yet they are nowhere to be seen when it comes to taking a "shift". I dont ask alot...come for a couple hours so that I can go take a shower without worrying! But again I would do this in a heartbeat for her! Ok all back to the  , hopefully when DH comes home he will say  and swing around on a pole like that...whoo hooo!!!

I will update you all tonight, no word yet but of course that doesn't mean much as they both work and go to school. I also told them the best time to reach me by phone is after 5pm as we are both off work. I figure I will call them once dh gets home if we haven't heard from them, since they gave us thier phone number. I am nervous....I am nervous that we won't "click" or that I will blank out. Or maybe be overbearing? I hope my personality comes through but when I'm nervous I get loud....so hopefully I won't break thier eardrums or anything!!  LOL You know what the most exciting thing is? At least thier is MOVEMENT ya know? Even if this doesn't work out it shows exactly how close we are..... Okay, gotta go back to work...praying for the next few hours to fly by!! LOL Natalie ETA: We don't know the due date or sex yet. My mom thinks they are due in March....hopefully they will tell us that tonight or the next time we talk.
