Strollers
Well, the baby isn't due until September but we're trying to decide on the stroller now and find a deal online. We're probably going to buy an infant car seat with a snap 'n go and are not looking for a travel system.
I think I've narrowed it down to a couple of strollers, but am very open to feedback: Peg Perego P3 Pliko The Rock Star Baby Stroller Stroll Air Driver NV (but I think it's too expensive) I'd love a Bugaboo Frog, but I think my cutoff is around $500, so that's a no go! DH and I are both tall (I'm 6 ft), so we need one that's got a high handle bar. So, what does everyone say about strollers? Anyone bought any of the above? Thanks! Allana |

Allana,
That's a pretty name. It's what I named my now three year old. I highly recommend the peg perego primo viaggio. The handle bar raises/lowers for height and the handle can also go either way to use stroller as a carriage style with baby facing you or away like other strollers. It's the best! |

One word.... Stokke! GREAT for taller people and the baby is up higher as well so less bending over and if you're walking on a busy street the baby isn't down at exhaust level. Also good for when you are eating out because the baby is at table height so they can be a part of the conversation.
![]() Down side is it's a little heavier than some but I feel like it's really sturdy. I got mine on sale as it was a display. But it was in perfect condition. So don't get put off by the price. There are sales out there! LOL Good luck!!! |

I know you're not looking for a travel system, but I bought the Chicco Cortina, and I love it! Granted, I don't have a baby yet , but it was one of the only strollers I tested that worked with my height (5'11"). With most others, I kicked the wheels. I didn't fully test the Peg, because the handlebars didn't go as high as the Cortina's. One other note: I also tried the Chicco C1, and ended up kicking the wheels on that one, so I only recommend the Cortina (for height). |

What's everyone's opinion on purchasing a travel system (stroller / car seat combo) vs. a single purpose stroller and single purpose car seat?

hi i would strongly recommend the "Mountain Buggy" made in New Zealand but i know that they are over there as well,,, the "terrain" which is what we have or the "Urban" absolutely brilliant buggys and very easy to put up and down,,, not heavy either... and new ones have adjustable height for taller people..

Ruled out the Rock Star stroller today...the front wheels didn't turn very well. Disappointing.
Tried out the Peg Perego Pliko P3, but it seems narrow. I really liked how easily it turned. Sigh. Tried out 9 different strollers and the only one we both agreed on was the Bugaboo Frog, totally out of our budget! The search continues... |
