A Nice Surprise
This morning, while waiting for T to get on the bus, we noticed a box on the front porch. It was from G's bmom. Inside were some purses for the girls and for me and a Mothers Day card. I nearly cried. Bmom has had problems with her family in the past and we were warned that she could be a "problem". She has been great with us (probably since she is staying on her meds) and I can't help but be hopeful that we will have a long relationship while G grows up and beyond.
Wishing all of you-mothers through the miracle of birth and through the miracle of adoption-a happy and joyous Mothers Day.

Bmom to my "twin" T (born 29 years apart) 1/06 Got the call-G needs a home 2/06 Started the paperwork, met with bmom 3/10/06 Bmom and custodial grandfather sign TPR and transfer of custody 3/15/06 Homestudy completed 4/2/06 G coming home to stay ???? Finalization????

I'm glad you were so happy!!
I remember the first time I got a Mother's Day card from our 4 year old DD BMom. I cried!! For her to send ME a card was SOOOOOO special! Deb

My daughters birthmother sends me a card and calls me to wish me a Happy Mothers Day every year!! This will be my 3rd Mothers Day..and I will enjoy it as if it is my first.
