2 year old birthday party--need ideas
My son will be 2 years old next month. On his first birthday it was a bear theme with a bounce house. I was hoping to do something different since my grandchildren's birthday's have each had a bounce house. Does anyone have any ideas? The other day I going thru the threads and seen one about party ideas but now I can't find it.

I love birthday parties.. We've had parties at Chuck E Cheese, McDonalds, rented a site at a park and community rec center... We've had birthday parties at home and set up outdoor activities... Like bean bag toss, water balloons, obstacle course, pinatas... Looked into a zoo birthday party and at the community pool. We've got 4 kiddos, so we've had to get creative so that each kid doesn't feel like they get the same old same old.. We still do at home parties, especially as our boys have gotten older.. But it's so fun to see the excitement the little ones show.. Good luck!! |

You know, I agree...there was a thread about party ideas a few months ago (Dec? Jan?), but I can't find it either.
Try the birthdaypartyideas site. People submit descriptions of the parties they had. There are tons of ideas for parties listed by theme, and many include the age in the title. They range from simple, great ideas to very elaborate. I got so many great ideas for each of my DD's parties (train party, lion king party and dinosaur party). DD was enamoured of Maisy Mouse when she turned 2, so that was the theme that year. Good luck and have fun!

For our oldest son's second birthday we had did a circus theme and had a clown come. He brought the parachute and did some cute tricks and then made bolloons animals for the kids. He even stayed and had cake and icecream with us which was a big hit with the kids.
