AT LAST, we have an approved copy of our completed Home Study Report!!!!!!!!- Whew!!!!!!!!!!:dng:dng:dng:dng:dng:dng:dng:dng:dng :dng:dng After 4 and some months!!!!!!!!!!!!! ----- :-P:-P:-P:-P:-P

But, I have a question, and please guide me with your responses!!!!!

Our Home Study report contains some errors, not on the notarized page, but on some other--- Our address listed on one of the pages, other than the front and notarized page is WRONG, the description of our Home is silghly WRONG. When I asked my SW that she give me a corrected page, (it's only a matter of typing it,), she says it's all right to submit to USCIS just like that, and she has even given me other wrong copies for myself too!!!!! -- Do you all think that she should correct it???? -- I feel, she's rushed for time and she doesn't want to do it!!!!!!!!! -- But what do we do?????

You are paying her, right? She needs to fix this.

Our SW sent us a copy of the homestudy for proofreading before she submitted it to the agency, but she added that if we discovered any errors after the fact that we should just get back in touch to get those corrected.

I would definitely have it corrected. And like the pp said, since the SW is getting paid to do the homestudy - you want it correct.

If this is for an international adoption, the address HAS to be right! A foreign country wil see the descrepency and may kick it back. Make her fix it!

Yes, this is a big deal. Consider typing all necessary corrections and submitting them to make it easier to be corrected and notarized. Plus, it proves you are not at fault or trying to hide anything. You may want to send the letter of correction certified mail just to be sure.

One small step for you, one HUGE step toward your child!

It's a small thing for the SW to correct correctly! Ask her to do it. Tell her you just to be sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.

Thanks Everyone for the good wishes!!!!!! But, I'm so frustrated with my agency!!!!!!1-- Our SW is from the agency which's doing our Int. adoption, and after insisting, she had me drive all the way (1 hour away), and then, gave me a corrected page only, and that too, is in a different color!!!!!!! I'm at a big loss as to what to do????????? She's not going to correct this, and even after paying extra money for something else, which they unfairly took from us!!!!!!!!!!!
