TLC adoption show
Has anyone heard anymore about the adoption show on TLC?? I would like to see another episode.

It was called "Family Matters"
I saw it and LOVED it! Im hoping for another one, too.
Luckily I TiVO'd it and watch it occasionally.

I thought it was going to be a series but I havent seen anything on it again. I have my tivo set to pick it up but it doesn't seem to be on the schedule for the next 2 weeks.
Anybody used to watch Adoption Stories on DHC? They haven't had a new episode in a very long time and I dont see anything about the show on the website.

I watched several episodes of Adoption Stories on Discovery Health. I really enjoyed them. I even found myself crying during some of the shows. The stories were very touching. I sure hope they don't do away with it.

I loved watching Adoption Stories. It would be nice to see some new episodes. I've haven't watched it in a while since I've already seen most of the shows.

I hope they haven't gotten rid of it either. I thought the shows were so touching. I have seen them all (I LOVE tivo!) and they haven't run any new ones and when you go to the discovery health channel website there is no mention of who to contact or new episodes or anything.

Family Matters was great (especially since it pertained to the type of adoption we're in).
Adoption Stories, however, seems to focus more on international than domestic, open adoptions. I do enjoy watching any and all adoption programs though!

Family Makers?
Is this the same show? It included two adoptions from the Independent Adoption Center and another from a group that did a semi-open/almost closed adoption? I'd LOVE to see many more shows on adoption -- I'm catching up on the ones on Discovery Health, as we didn't have that channel until recently, but can't get enough of adoption shows. . .susan
