I Cannot Believe She's Here!!!!
Well, well, well! I didn't think I would typing these words so soon but...........she's here!
Baby Ryan was born on Friday and we were called suddenly right after she was born and asked if we could be on a plane to Dallas to be there to pick her up!!! We had no idea that our profile was even going out before we go the call! So we are in Dallas waiting for ICPC and loving every minute of our precious little girl! I hate cliches but everyone here was right, every failed match and possible situation, etc. is a distant memory. She takes our breath away! Thanks for everything!!!  I'll attach a pic in a second if someone can tell me how to reduce the size of a picture!  Last edited by kllee4 : 03-08-2006 at 02:24 PM.

OK, here's a pic!
She's my pumpkin, my beanie baby, my angel!!!
Ryan Alexia Lee was born Friday, March 3rd weighing 5 pounds, 8 ounces and perfect in every way. Her birthmother selected her middle name and was thrilled that we decided to keep it. We also made sure to order her original birth certificate before we leave because once we leave, then the records are sealed and not even D can get it for her or Ryan when she is an adult. I think that is horrible but I so want her to have it. The boys are so excited and can't wait to meet their little sister. They have already planned our baby shower and BIG is an understatement! Our cell phones have been ringing off the hook and our email boxes are full!!! We officially began this journey summer, 2004 and now we finally have her! Oh, how sweet it is!!! We met with her birthmother, her grandfather and her great grandmather and they are all wonderful! We agreed to one visit every summer and we will make it a family reunion! They kept telling D how she had struck gold with us. She is a talented writer who will begin attending college in the fall and we made sure they knew that they are all family now and she can call, email and write us. We talked and laughed and had such a good time! We will be having dinner with them on Friday evening, too. I got the feeling that they wanted us to accept them and it ws funny, because we wanted the same thing. D said that she knows she made the right decision and she fed her baby and we took pictures and it was a really nice visit. She had bought a gift for Ryan and we had bought her some writing journals and special pens with some bath stuff and a candle labeled "New Beginnings". I am still in shock and can't believe that she is ours!!! We feel so blessed! Last edited by kllee4 : 03-08-2006 at 03:34 PM.
