What brand of baby bottles have you used?

Right now I am using Avent but I can't tell if they are not helping with gas. She always seems miserable even though she is a very good burper. I also switched her o GS soy formula which seems to have helped. Anyone ever use Dr browns or playtex?

I used Dr. Browns, but my son was a toddler by the time we did this. Not sure how much that helps, but he didn't really have any gas problems.

Thumbs up Dr. Browns

Dr. Browns all the way for us, with are 1st son we had no problems. Planning on using them again for the second.

I have really only heard of one person that did not like them. And others may not like them because of the price, but you only need so many.

We have used Dr. Browns from the beginning and DD has had NO problems with gas. I don't know if that has anything to do with the bottle, but I figured if it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I was having some problems with them leaking until someone on this wonderful board told me that I may have the cap on too tight...YEP, that was the problem!

Playtex Ventaire

My DD couldn't or wouldn't burp with Avent so we switched to Playtex Ventaire which her cousin was using and have not had a problem since!

Plain ole Gerber cheapies!!! I bought Playtex but my girl already let us know she liked things the way she liked them from day one. She was started on a specific nipple in the hospital and we had to find a bottle that fit those nipples! Worked fine though as they are cheap. Bug never had trouble with gas.

We tried Dr. Browns, Avent, Platex Vent Air, Mustela, and Gerber... and the good ol' Gerber was babe's clear favorite, both in terms of sucking and gas.

We use Dr.Browns too, with great success. Here is another recent thread about bottles: http://forums.adoption.com/showthread.php?t=234275&page=1&pp=15

I am the poster of that other thread and let me tell ya, we still haven't found "the bottle."

We do well with Parent Choice, especially when using cereal in the bottle. But we've also done well with Playtex Vent Aire (stage 1 nipples good just for formula, stage 2 too big even for cereal).

He doesn't dribble as much and I think a lot of that is he's able to suck better (??).

We tried nearly every bottle under the sun. Finally we tried teh Dr. Brown's and we haven't had a gas problem or a nipple problem since.

I think that every baby is different so we bought one of each type to try. Glad we did because we ended up with a fussy little one when it comes to feeding.

We used Playtex with the disposable liners. Worked great.

Playtex nursers all the way...use the disposable liners and no scrubbing! We've tried all kinds, but always go back to the Playtex.
