April/May/June Adoptions
Who out there is matched and waiting for an April/May/June baby? We have been matched since the end of January with an incredible pbmom due with a baby girl at the end of May. I would love to start a group with others "expecting" at the same time!

Yippy!

I was hoping someone would start this thread! We were matched in late January with a wonderful potential birth family. The baby boy is due 4/21 although pbmom and pbgrandma tell me, "he'll be here earlier than that"!

We flew out ot state to visit the pbfamily last weekend and had a great time. Let's all keep our fingers crossed for each other that everything goes well!

Yeah, I am so glad we have all found eachother!


Imani and Ellie - do you know the sex of your baby?

I feel like our pbmom's due date is still so far away, 13 weeks to go! So it is so nice to find others with a long wait too!

We are right at 8 weeks and counting! Things are really starting to get serious though. Today the potential birth family should receive all their paperwork in the mail. Including the papers they will sign after the baby is born.

Wow was I glad to see this thread pop up! I've been reading the forums a lot for a few weeks and posting only a little because none of the groups seemed to fit.

We were matched about 3 weeks ago are looking forward to a May 24th due date. We absolutely love our pb-mom and are in contact with the bp-dad via email. They are wonderful people and we feel so blessed.

We just found out yesterday that we are expecting a little girl!!! I can even express how thrilled we are! She actually yawned a nice big yawn on the sonogram for us. She's gorgeous, just like her birth mom. I love her already!

It will be nice to share fears, joys, excitements with women going through the same thing at the same time!

It's also going to be a girl for us as well. I just returned yesterday from visiting the pbirth parents yesterday. 6 weeks to go but I'll try to keep myself busy.

Our pbmom had a doctors appointment today. The doctor said that she is carrying really low and will probably only have another 10 weeks to go!!!! I was beginning to feel like 13 weeks was so far away, but 10 weeks just seems so much closer. I just can't wait until she is here.

We found out the gender with pbmom at her "big" u/s appn't back in December... She suspected a boy since she first found out she was pg and she was right -- he's a HE.

Just popping in to wish you all luck! We matched with our birthmother in Jan of 04 and had a due date of June 2 but our daughter arrived May 24. I know the wait seems so long but it is soooo worth it.
Good luck and I can't wait to start seeing all those birth announcements popping up!
