J's MRI- Update

I thought I had written about this MRI we were to get done, but I don't find my post anywhere...

Anyway after hassle after hassle after hassle with the hospital we had the MRI done this week. DD was not sedated and there was no apparent pain involved. Emotionally though it was tough on her, scared her, she cried for a long time afterward (VERY unlike her), and she's been rather clingy ever since

But the good new is the results came back CLEAR!!!! Thank God. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry happy tears. When we left I wanted to go celebrate, blow off some steam, but DD and I came home and settled in for a good nap, pretty wild aren't we!

I know many of you have gone thru far worse, but this week took a lot out of me! I didn't think I was all that worked up about it (we'd handle whatever turned out), but as I was pulling into the hospital parking ramp my heart was just p o u n d i n g!!! Since the hospital had already 'messed up' our appt twice, DH didn't take off work again, so it was just us girls. First flying alone, now this- us girls are getting pretty good at managing ourselves out in the world :-)

I am happy for you and your family! I have had many MRI's and nothing hurts....you just have to lie still, mine was an open MRI so maybe those were better! Glad she is well

God Bless,
Summer

Great news! So glad everything worked out for you. I know how scared I was when our dd had to have 2 Cscans and an MRI. My husband went to work as well which I am so grateful for. He worries more than I do and would've driven me crazy. Again, I'm so happy for you and your family.
