Adoption not going to happen.....
There have been too many issues come up with our recent situation. So, it looks like this baby was not meant to be ours. Thanks to all of you for all of your help this weekend as we tried to resolve some things, but it didn't work out.
I'm sure our baby will come along. Thanks again. Kim

it's hard to walk away from a situation, but if you know in your heart it's not right, then it's best for you to walk away.
we had this happen to us and I think about one of these children quite often. It was the best decision for us but it doesn't make it easier . hope your wait for number two is short  .lisa

Oh that's hard. It helped me to remember some words of a counselor we had, she said, "Now you know yourself better, you have a clearer understanding of your own limitations and that's always a good thing."

I'm so sorry but your baby will come and you will feel better about this. We went through 3 definite possible situations...one we had bags packed and everything. Then finally we got a call with a week's notice to pick up our daughter. Took us almost 3 years from beginning to end but we didn't give up even though our families had. Keep your "chin" up...your baby is out there!

I've been thinking about you all day. I'm so sorry this situation wasn't the right one but these boards are FULL of wonderful success stories after situations just like yours. I hope the baby for you is in your arms soon

It's so hard to walk away from a situation...we had to over Christmas... but you know what is right... hang in there and hoping your babe comes home soon..
