I am terribly sorry that this has happened to your DH. I am sure that he is receiving the absolute best care, and is being surrounded by prayers from all over the world. I know that this must be an unbeliveably scary, almost surreal time for you, but I have seen your tremendous strength here and I pray that you will find all the strength, love, and endless support that you need during this time. {{{Lori}}} I am so so very sad to hear about this scary time for you. As you say, right when you realize your family dream, preparing for a first Christmas all together, you are faced with devastating uncertainty. So unfair. Your dh sounds like an amazingly strong person. Optimism has proven to be the greatest healer. A very optimistic friend of mine who just a few months ago was told he would not likely live more than a few months, has now been given a better than even chance of living ten years or more. Another friend of mine survived a brain aneurysm years ago and has had minimal longterm effect. There are many many success stories, and your hubby can be one of them.
Don't be afraid to lean heavily on family and friends. (((Hugs)))
