Totally OT but I couldn't resist: DD in her Homecoming dress
I am just getting the hang of this whole highschool thing but seeing my baby girl like this is gonna take some getting used to. She goes to a small Catholic highschool so while I know she had a good time there were LOTS of people there to make sure she didn't have too ood at time. There are only 500 kids at the school but there were 400 at the dance along with half of the faculty and a whole cadre of parent chaperones.
Friday night was the homecoming game to which she wore the jersey of some boy. I have no idea who he is, all I could get was that he was a senir and a "friend of a friend" and had no one to wear his jersey for lucjk that night (yeah I believe a senior starter on the varsity football team doesn't have someone to wear his jersey. I will peek this out it is only a matter of time. Here she is in our front yard and at a friend's house waiting for the limo. (they went with a GANG so they could afford a limo I think there must have been 20 of 'em).lisa |

Lisa,
Your daughter is beautiful! I hate to say this, but I think your "baby girl" is growing up. I dread the day Lindsay becomes a teenager; she already has a boyfriend in preschool! Thank you for sharing her picture with us!

I was referencing your daughter's age to your avatar and thinking she was waaaay too young to have anythign to do with a senior starter
I'm guessing that the avatar is either way too small to do justice or not current.Wow, your daughter is beautiful! That is a rockin' classy dress too ![]() |

Lisa, she is so so beautiful; that was my first thought. My second was, I cannot believe how many injuries and what a tough gal she is. It's awesome! (not the injuries of course, but the athletic risk taking)
Obviously she is a smart, loving wonderful kid; you have done well mama! |

She is absolutely gorgeous!!!! Its so hard to see them looking like adults, isn't it? My son is a senior in HS this year, and he is still my little baby in a grown man's body.

What a lovely young lady!
No wonder you are so proud -- she is beautiful! And, yes, very grownup looking. Your DH better get a shot gun for each hand, I'd say!
What a wonderful memory for your family, though! I am glad your daughter had a good time and has so many friends. D.
