Hi everyone,

My husband and I are almost finished with our homestudy. I think that only one more visit is necessary before our profile will begin getting circulated.

We have come to adoption after struggling through two rounds of IVF, and have thankfully come through on the other side excited about adopting.

In an effort to spread the message of what a blessing adoption has been and is to us, we have designed a t-shirt for purchase. It can be viewed on [EDITED]

Please do not feel as though I am asking for people to buy our shirt, we are simply excited about the message, and wanted to share it with you all in honor of Adoption Awareness Month. When we started this journey, we could never find anything out there that portrayed adoption, especially open adoption, to be a positive thing. The only way that we knew anything about open adoption was when we happened across people that were going through it or had expanded their family in this way.

As we have been telling people about out shirts, we have met the most amazing people from a 70 year old man that had just found his birth family, to a 30-something women who placed her daughter for adoption 11 years ago. Each and everyone of these people have a special place in my heart, and I pray for them in appreciation for opening their hearts to me and telling their story. Please feel free to share your intimate connection with adoption whether it be your personal story, or your family has been touched by adoption, or whatever. Thank you so much for your time.
