Smile New Here, don't know where to go

Hi! I am new here and I am not sure where to even start. My hubby and I are starting International Adoption proceedings, and I really have no clue about it, except get this together, get this money, etc. etc. I am just nervous and looking for support from people, and info on how things work, general info, etc. If anyone can point me in the right direction, let me know. I am looking for support as well as advice. I have alot of questions that I would like to ask. Thanks so much.

hi and welcome!

there are a few boards here, some rather specific, like international adoption boards for each country, or a general international board, and then there's this one, the general boards. You're welcome on all of them and you can get support from any/all of them. People on this board have adopted both internationally and domestically, so we've been there. There are also boards for those getting started, and you'll find info there.

finally, adoption.com has a ton of articles about things to think about, so search the website.

and we're always here to offer support or offer any advice if you ask.

good luck!

Lisa
