adoptee's adopting (or who have adopted)??? any out there?
Not sure if this is okay to post here...as it can relate to adoptees & adoptive parents...i have also cross posted in the adoptee support area
Just wondering, if there are many other adoptee's who are hoping to adopt or haved adopted?
And do you feel a "special" connection to your child because of this shared bond...(for lack of a better word)
And how are your parents accepting your plans to adopt?

I myself am an adoptee closed adoption and am in the process of adopting a baby that is already here and sibling due in Nov. It kinda just fell into my lap! LOL

My DH is an adult adoptee in reunion over 9 years now, and we are the parents of two adopted sons, one of whom just came home in June.

We are panel presenters for our adoption agency, and there is one other presenter who, herself, is adopted and has adopted two children.

i was adopted pretty much at birth (2-3 weeks old) from LSS IL. And my sister was adopted at 3months..LSS WI...from South Korea. DH and I are working with LSS IL...to adopt an infant (domestically)
And as we have gone through our homestudy and such..i have really embraced my adoption and my part of the triad. and how lucky i am to be able to pursue another part of the triad...
Since we are working with the same agency, many people have found it really unique and positive
and i was just wondering if anyone else feels this way...
