I do remember watching He-man and She-ra, but I was an adult by then ('I have the power...').
inch high private eye and grape ape were my younger sister's favorites. Anyone remember atom ant? I really loved that one and to this day still say "up and at 'em, atom ant!" -of course no one knows what I'm talking about, but I'm happy .other oldies that I liked: ricochet rabbit, the time traveling dog and his human friend (name escapes me), jetsons. Dh wants to put in a plug for his fav: wacky races also liked underdog "there's no need to fear, underdog is here!" yep, I watch wayyyy to many cartoons .

Ok now, everyone is showing their age! *hehe*
![]() My fave cartoons were Scooby Doo and Speed Racer. However my fave shows were ultraman and Land of the Lost, although they weren't cartoons. Anyone remember them? I really enjoyed all the sid & marty Krofft shows. Sigmund the seamonster, lidsville etc. There were a bazillion of them, most of which I no longer remember by title. Shay, you and Daria are full of fun threads!

I love this post, remembering all my old favs. I've been buying Ducktales, Smurfs, Pink Panther, HeathCliff, Talespin, and Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers off of Half.com for my kids, but I also LoveD the movies; My Little Ponies, Chipmunks, Might Mouse, and CareBears.
I never watched Sinbad the Sailor as a kid, but an old oprea house in Portland, OR shows them on a movie screen on Sunday afternoons in summer and my sons are addicts ![]()

I think speedy was saying "andale" if I can remember my spanish. the cartoon was just a wee bit racist, but then again, many of our favorites back then were racist.
pepe le pew-this one really drove me crazy. It was cat harassment and sexual harassment all rolled into one! It made me uncomfortable as a child and i could never articulate why. As an adult I now know why . My sister loved it. go figure. And younger sis also loved speed buggy. never clicked with me-another generation maybe?can't remember tom slick: what are the words to the theme song? what was it about? and thanks for the mr. peabody reference. Lisa

cathy102-close enough! The sad thing is that we remember these songs and phrases. we had a trivia team contest in college and my specialty was cartoons-so sad.
