Chris -- I understand how you might be "faked" into thinking "this is it" -- I happened to me, too. I completely understand. Still, since 11/7 was your due date, we can fudge and accept 11/8! What a story (minus the wetting part) you'll be able to tell this little one. Later, when s/he is older, you might share the whole story!
I just spoke with our future dd's birthdad! We had about an hour talk and he's fully behind the plan 100%. I'm so excited! Lots of details why we're just talking now, but what matters is that we're all on the same page! Now it's time for my dh to call and talk to the bf, too, and men have a hard(er) time with making this happen. So funny. I'm feeling sooo good about this now, even more than before. ohhhhh. Chris -- just logged on, thinking, "come on, baby!" I know we're all pulling for you, realizing that your baby will make his or her appearance when she's darn well ready!
On our front, we talked (both dh and I) last night to the pbf - - he was great and we seemed to do well together, although it's a little difficult as he's getting on board now in the last month, 3 mos into our communication, but hey, that's adoption for you. . . it's soooo much better without a "wild card" out there. He seems 100% supportive and very committed to being there at the birth. It was so stressful getting ready to call him -- I felt like that was my labor (again) for sure. whew! Summer -- thank you for your updates. You're the best! Cathy, Stacie, Kim, Momofsix, I hope all's well with you. too. susan

Chris had her baby...please still send warm wishes and thoughts for a fast recovery!!!!
P was born at 11:05 pm on November 08, 2005. He weighed in at a whopping 9 lbs. 13.9 oz., and he is 21 inches long. After over 17 hours of labor, he came by way of c-section. Chris is recovering well and I've never seen her so happy. I am so happy for her and her family! YEAH YEAH YEAH CHRIS Warm thought to you and baby P God Bless, Summer

Congrats CHRIS!!May you have a speedy recovery.Wow!He was a big boy!!Jacob was 10 pounds 7.6 ounces at birth 21 1/2 inches long,so I know what it is like to give birth to a big baby!!You deserve a medal for that !!
