Hello! I'm hoping to find some epals who are currently amom's to chat with, get to know, and just make friends. I'd like to get to know other adoptive mothers who are looking for friendship, support, and to share parenting advice, etc.
My children were adopted from the state. They were not given up for adoption by the bmom by choice but removed because of risk. After reading other posts, it seems those of us who adopted this way have a different perspective and situation than moms who adopted via domestic open adoption or foreign adoption.
However, I'd like to hear from everyone as we are all, in the end, adoptive mothers. Mommy's. Isn't that a great word?
