ICPC questions
I’m totally jumping the gun here but looking for information on Pennsylvania ICPC. I’d love some information, especially from anyone with experience.
I also have a basic ICPC question…My husband and I have family in New Jersey. The way I understand ICPC I’m pretty sure we couldn’t stay with family in NJ during the wait but could we visit for the day? Thanks! Kelly |

Hi Kelly, Don't have information on Pennsylvania ICPC. But, when awaiting ICPC, you cannot, for any reason, for any amount of time, cross a state line with the baby. Good luck on your journey.

Kelly, I would check with your agency and see what they say about going to NJ for the day. We were told when we were involved in a situation in NY that we could go to NJ for the day (the agency that we were using was in NJ and thought we might have to take some paperwork there). We were concerned about going across state lines as well, but they told us that as long as we did not stay overnight we could go across state lines for a day.

Rather than travel with a newborn more than you have to why don't you have your family come visit you in PA while you are waiting. We flew through ICPC is 48 hours but some can take up to 10 days.
Good luck. Robyn
