Who Am I? is a children's book available through adoption shop
My book is available for sale through adoption shop.Who AM I?, is a children's book with a strong spiritual flavor .The book is intended for readers age 3-12;however, many adult adoptees/bithmothers have purchased the book.
The book is a valuable tool in which teachers,parents,therapists,etc can use when speaking to children about adoption. I wrote the book for my 6 year old daughter following questions about her adoption experience.Communication is vital for an adoptee to develop normally;and this book provides an opportunity for open communciation regarding identity. My daughter shared it with her first grade class and the teacher couldn't keep the book on the shelf.All children are curious about adoption. I am happy to say that her first grade class now understands that adoption is another special way in which to build family. Adoption is a celebration of God's love.
