OT: Prayers Requested for Three Families

On Friday afternoon, April 1st, three teenage boys in my town passed away in a horrendous car accident. Shawn, 19, Brandon, 18, and Chris, 20. The three of them were part of my little sister's core group of friends. Chris took her to her first homecoming dance, Brandon was her closest friend, and Shawn was the goofball everyone counted on for a good laugh. I am so broken hearted for all who this tragedy affects. My heart and prayers are with their families and friends as they attend the memorial service tonight. Their lives were short, but their memories will live on.

What special memories your daughter will have of these 3 young men. I am sure they touched many lives. Encourage your daughter to remember the special times. Be there to listen when she wants to talk, be there in silence when she just wants to Be. A loss of life is always hard for the loved ones left behind. This tragic accident just re emphasizes how important it is to tell each other we love them, to let them know how much we appreciate them and the things they have done. I will be lifting up in prayer all those who are touched by this. May something strong and positive arise out of it.
