An admission of total lameness...
Did anybody else get suckered into watching not one, not two, but THREE Lifetime movies yesterday on adoption? How lovely that everything is so cut and dry and issues get resolved so lovingly in a 2 hour span. I know--shame on me for watching. I kept hoping that maybe the next one might be better, but it didn't. Sigh...six hours of my life, washed down the tubes. But, it was a grey, snowy afternoon...does that count as an excuse???

Its only REALLY lame if you follow it up with many more hours of Adoption Story, Birth Story, etc on TLC. (Oh how many days of my life did I waste sitting on my couch with a box of kleenex!)

I didn't watch those movies. And yes, an ugly day outside is your "only" viable excuse. (Oh the shame!!)
But my unexcusable admission is watching multiple "birth story" episodes in my life. You can't even mummer this in front of my dh without a HUGE GROAN from him. I use to "NOT" get my period and then watch an episode, crying my eyes out thinking... "that'll never be me"... Boo Hoo!!! Pathetic. THANK YOU!!! Without your courage I don't think I could of ever admitted that! ![]()

well, since we're being brave...
I am a TOTAL sap when it comes to all those TLC and Discovery Channel shows. And I thought getting satellite TV was a good idea. WRONG
And since I've already admitted to my total lameness, let me put this one out there--is it just me, or do they show the same 10 episodes of Adoption Stories all the time???

Well, they say admitting we have a problem is the first step to recovery... ![]()

LOL - I haven't watched lifetime but I LOVE watching "babies special delivery" and "adoption stories" - and YES they do re-run the same ones all of the time, I wish they would run more because there are obviously tons of adoption stories out there.
anyway - my DH hates when I watch all of the above, I don't get sappy but he thinks they are all the same...well, I will never admit it ![]()

I watch those shows......
I love watching those programs, but I always end up crying, especially while watching the "Adoption Stories".
DH sees me crying and always asks why I continue to watch them if they make me cry. I just enjoy the shows. ![]()
