Jennied, that is a great question and I too was feeling that his adoption is not something I want to be sharing with the world. It is his decision who knows and does not know.
The problem I ran into was that my 6 year old daughter was involved in all these activities and suddenly I walk in with an infant. All the parents are just staring at me and wondering what happened and where did he come from. Any insight on how to handle this group of people. Again, great question KINNJ |

Our son has really curly red hair and we are constantly being asked by strangers "Where did he get his red hair". I have been telling people that it is a genetic trait from his birth mother (well it is), since we are really open about his adoption. However, my answer has really embarassed a few people, which isn't my intention.
I keep telling my wife that next time I will respond "Hair club for men" ![]() |

HAHA! Great answers.
To the "You look really good ...." questions, I've just started saying thanks. Then I know them better and feel like it I mention adoption. His hair is just so obviously curly and cute that I get that one all the time now. Where does he get his hair from and I've just started saying, "I have no idea!". Both seem to be working great! ![]()
