Hi. I could use some help. I'm an adoptive-mother-to-be and DH and I are working on our letter to our pbmother to give her after the birth. Does anyone have any nice adoption poems or quotes that I might be able to use in the letter? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

THE GIFT OF LIFE


The gift of life
is a precious gift
Thru Jesus Christ
Your life was built.

God sent you to earth
to spread his love
to gain a new family and
His blessings from above.

God thought about you, loved you
rocked you and, carried you
for such along time
keeping you safe from harm
until He could make you mine.

Because my tummy is broke
And, He had no other choice
You, His gift of life
had to take another course.

I thank God for your birthmom
who helped make this all possible
and for this reason
her love for you
will never be denible.

Yes you, this gift of life
is a percious gift
that has joined our family
no-more to be adrift.

Hi there. I don't know if this right for a bmom letter but i think it expresses every amom feelings. I don't know who wrote it & I came across it when I was making my daughters baby blanket.

Today I kissed an angel,
I knew it from the start,
The 1st time my angel smiled @ me.
I gave away my heart.

This angel child of mine.
