Jo, Hannah is just beautiful!!! I'm so glad to hear from someone finally. Natalie doesn't have any teeth yet, but she is crawling and just this week she started pulling up. She even took a step yesterday holding on to the couch.
Well, I'm so glad you wrote. I'm going to try to keep a closer watch on this thread. Thanks.amom to dd 8 years old ds 5 years old dd 7 months old |

it's so frustrating that the notification isn't working right on this thread like it used to. Thank you Kat for the compliment on Hannah, it appears we've got a couple of beauties here huh? Oh the woes we'll have in 14 years! Tooth #2 broke thru this week and 2 more are coming, don't envy the teeth, it's been a rough week of sleep! That's excellent that Natalie's crawling, Hannah is a little, she can go but isn't go-go-going, she's definitely getting there. What did Natalie weigh at her 6 mo. apt? Hannah was 15.4 I think. I thought that was good but it seems every other baby in the world is bigger.

Hey all!
I've been MIA lately... and just noticed that everyone's been posting updates here. I miss you guys!!
I'm really sorry for checking out -- things have been a bit crazy/stressful here as we prepare to sell our home. We've decided to take out all the equity we've built and rent a house from friends for a few years, which will enable us to cut our housing payment almost in half (!!), pay off all our debt (well, except for the overpriced education DP received and will be paying off for the next twenty years!) and also give us a good cushion in the bank. (If you can't tell, I'm trying to put a positive spin on a hard and sad decision.) Lol. Anyway, other than house stress, things are going pretty well for DP, James and I. James is doing so great -- he's babbling like an insane person (ironically: dada dada dada.. *grin*), crawls like a champ, and started pulling himself up on furniture and in his playyard the other day (?!?!). He's just starting to cruise around his play yard, but is still pretty wobbley and falls on his bum alot. He's weighing in at 20ish pounds and eats like a horse. He's still a very very happy baby. We feel pretty blessed. Post more February chicas! I wanna see some more adorable baby shots! Hope you're all well, and here are the pics of James that I'd be shot if I didn't supply: xoxo

Hi!
Binyasa, Great to hear from you! We are also in the middle of selling our house, so I know what your going through. James is such a cutie pie. I just love those big toothless grins. Jo, Natalie weighed 17.8 and was 27 inches long at 6 months. She is such a chunk. Don't worry about Hannah it sounds like she is right on target. Natalie was in the 75% on her weight and 90% on height. She is just going to be a tall be girl. Her birthmom is 5'11" so I'm sure she will be tall too. Great to hear from you both. Anymore February's out there. amom to, dd 8 years old ds 5 years old dd 7 months old. |

Hi February Friends,
Thought I'd drop a line and check in. We hit 8 months last week, who here is doing the countdown? (4 more months until I can stop buying formula). Hannah never took to powdered formula so we're still on concentrate which is more expensive. She's doing great, developing at lightening speed. HEr new thing the last few weeks is standing. She can pull up quite easily and quickly from sitting usuing anything, even something as low to the ground as my leg which I'm on the ground with her. Then she just lets go! She can balance for a few counts and then is down. She's verbalizing a ton as well, it was ba's and blah's but yesterday it was the dreaded da-da-da - man was I bummed for me, but just to show me she loved me we got a ma-blah out of her too. haha. Always diplomatic, had to make sure both of us got our props. Biny, saw the pic of James in his costume on another thread, too cute! I haven't gotten Hannahs pic yet but it's the same style costume, only a leopard, she looks dynamite in it! Good luck with the house, dh and I have been considering options like that. With housing skyrocketing, there's equity to be taken advantage of. Katmom, hope things are still well with you and yours. Jo
