Just wanted to throw something in here. I didn't want to initially say this because I felt support for Deb was the most important thing.
However, whenever someone is asked to help financially support a potential Birthmother, please do not send money or a check directly. If bills need to be paid, then have copies of the bills sent to you and then you pay them directly. If a potential Birthmother wants money for maternity clothes, food,etc., find a place in her area and then send a gift certificate.

This advice is to try to protect potential Adoptive parents.
Although most prospective Birthmothers are upfront and honest, unfortunately, there are some who are not.
