2 kids, one bmom

I have been around these forums since before my son was born three years ago, but nowadays I mostly lurk.
Three months ago, our son's birthmother placed with us again. I thought this was a rare occurence, but it seems that lately everyone knows "someone" who this has happened to. So, just wondering if there are any others out there who adopted more than once from the same birthmother?

With open adoption, I think this is becoming less rare. My oldest daguthers's bmom also placed our son in hopes she could keep the two together. We went on to adopt two more girls from different bmoms, and believe it or not, my son and second daughter are closer than my son is to his bio sister. Mostly this is age and personality difference. Do you plan on adopting again?

No Dad, after this one, we are done, LOL. We actually had planned on starting the adoption process a second ( and last ) time in about a year, so our daughter was unexpected - but very welcome! But it has been a real roller coaster for us, as her birthfather is contesting the adoption. I figure we better quit while we are ahead, LOL, since we have three ( 16 year old stepdaughter, 3 year old ason, and our 3 month old adaughter) perfect, healthy and beautiful children.

Our daughter is the most beautiful wonderful baby on the planet!!

That being said.....how awful is it that I secretly hope that her birthmom gets pregnant again, and places with us, so Ryan can have a biological sibling?? (hiding my head in shame)

We have a friend who has two daughters about 11 months apart that are bio sisters.

My oldest who is 6 asked if we were going to have another baby. I told her mommy and daddy are still discussing and working on it. She said that we should just go to ***** her birthmom and get another baby! Oh, that was a conversation!!!

wishing ~ I am embarrassed to admit that I actually made the same statement when my son was about 3 months old. Be careful what you wish for..........LOL.
AFter we brought our daughter home, one of our neighbors asked me why I hadn't told her that we were waiting to adopt....when I told her we weren't and told the story, she said "Well that's a first! Not an unplanned pregnancy, but an unplanned adoption".
Oh, and wishing.........now, now, I think MY daughter is the most beautiful baby girl in the world.

two from the same mom

I have three adopted kids and one of my own... the last two were from the same Mom (she kept one and three and I got two and four) It worked well during the adoption and the kids have bonded well.
