Thank you for the encouraging words. Yes, that is the feeling that we have gotten from the biodad, he doesn't want it "on record" that he "gave up" his child. We are hoping that this is how it all pans out. Until then, we are hanging in there and supporting the biomothers wishes of retaining custody of the child until all rights are terminated.

I am not trying to scare you, but we are adopting here in OH (and live here as well) and our agy explained it as, he has rights until the 30 days are up. When he signs the PBR, he is asserting his rights. I would definitely get a lawyer, this could get messy, but I so hope and pray this all works out for you!
