A lurker here...coming out of the woodwork!
Hello!
I've been lurking off and on for a couple of years and intensely for the past two weeks. To make my background introduction short: I'm 32, DH is 35. We've been TTC for 9 years. During that time there have been numerous failed ART attempts, an ectopic pregnancy, many hopes dashed, and too many jabs in the hiney to count! So, here we are - ready to adopt and embracing it for the miracle it is!!! Currently we are in week three of our home study classes (one evening a week for six weeks) in order to prepare us emotionally for the process and ultimately becoming a family through adoption. We hope (fingers crossed) that the home study will be completed and we'll be in the "Waiting Families Book" by the first of the year. I love this board! You all offer such great advice and support to each other. I'm looking forward to getting to know each of you better and I'm glad to be a part of this "family!" Love and prayers, BlessedBe

 Ooops, in my excitement I forgot to mention that we are pursuing domestic infant adoption. Lovebug, too late! I'm already addicted. Why didn't you warn me of this earlier?  I agree that all the lurkers should come out and play as well. I can tell that I will be coming here often for support and information. Thanks again! You're all just...awesome! BlessedBe
