Adoption Therapist

I live in the Los Angeles area and would like to visit a therapist to discuss a lot of the issues that I am having as a soon-to-be adoptive mother. Does anyone know of a resource or how to begin to search for such a therapist? I would really appreciate it!

Thanks! :-)

Sorry! I don't know of any, but you might want to post on the CA board and see if you get any responses there. Best of luck to you!

The Kinship Center in Santa Ana does counseling. They are very good.

You may also want to ask your local RESOLVE chapter. Many people think they are just a resource for infertility but they also have services for those moving from infertility towards adoption.

Best of luck
