Hello everyone -

I hate to tell you this.... but PattiPanCakes is an imposter and an anti from an MSN board. She was caught there posting under her real name "Faux Claud" then deleting it real quick.

This lady is a birthmother who thinks that she needs to save the world from adoption. She's not totally there people. She needs psychological help. She toys with the emotions of people to get her kicks. Why? Not sure, but I just didn't think that it was fair that you all be put into this position. I have been a member on this site for quite a while and don't want to see anybody hurt by this woman.

Unfortunately, she did the same thing to my site and we banned her immediately.

Sorry that I had to tell you all this. I do truly feel that this woman does need help and hopes that she gets it.

Many people have offered this woman advice based on what she's said here. I felt compelled to post this information, because I think she has been dishonest in her story. It would be advisable not to put too much stock in her story. I do not want my message to be deleted, so I will not post any links, but I will say PattiPanCake is not who she makes herself out to be. She is a member of the anti-adoption movement, the first part of her other id is "faux", meaning false, that should give you a clue right there. She accidently posted under her MSN member id as PattiPanCakes. This is not the first time she's done this.

I should make clear that I came to the conclusion she was not real by reading the anti adoption website where she posted. She was ranting at the antis, but accidently posted a message under her msn id she regularly uses. Hope this is more clear than it sounds.

Well - I'm not sure what to think....

She said she would go post there to tell the folks over there how much her family had been hurt.... so her posting there, and even using her "name" here isn't weird in itself...

She hasn't said anything indicating any anti-adoption views, quite the contrary. And she hasn't stirred up hate and resentment and pain, like many of the folks on those sites do....

So - without knowing whether YOU are writing about an anti-adoption site she was on - or another site similar to this where she expressed a different persona, it's really hard to know what to think...

And - I don't know you guys either for that matter -- for all I know, you could be trying to get her banned from here because you didn't like what she said on an anti-adoption site. But heck, I could be wrong.

Anyone else know these folks? Anything else you can give us to make us believe you over her???

I am proud of us here for supporting a person, real or fictious, in such an honorable way. Any newcomer could read this thread and understand the compassionate nature of this forum. All sides of the triad have posted here in an honorable manner. We are to be commended for faithfully reaching out to someone in need.

Sadly, I will also confirm that this person is a fake and liar.

Someone whose point of view I disagreed with but thought had integrity *the real her that is, Claude*. Sadly, apparently she doesnt. This is NOT the first time she has done this.

Attention seeking behaviors sadly often reflect a deeper psychosis. I hope and pray she gets the help she needs.

I don't have an anti-adoption site. It's for adoptive mom's. However, I have been reading the other sites because they sometimes do have informative things that people should really be aware of. They don't like me because I am an adoptive mom and a reunited adoptee. To them that's 2 strikes against me. They've been known to take posts from this forum and totally rip them to shreds. Then laugh about how ignorant we are.

You are absolutely right. I too am proud of the way everyone came together and gave her some wisdom and advice, but once the antics start, unfortunately, someone always gets hurt and that's what I didn't want.

You all are wonderful and insightful people and I have the uttmost respect for you all. That's why I decided to "out" her.

Thanks all of you.... I checked out the site... nasty stuff, but yep - she posted under the other name by mistake...

I hope she will get some help too -- she must be in so much pain to need to do this....

I too am proud of the way this thread was handled... A great example of how much wisdom and support this forum offers.
